our counselling service
KPS currently has one qualified counsellor available for person-to-person counselling (one-to-one), that is available to clients free-of-charge, and that can be combined with the treatment and health care of someone who is HIV-positive, and their carers. All counselling sessions are confidential, and appointment can be made through KPS or your HIV healthcare clinic. If you do not wish to book appointment through KPS we fully understand your need for total confidentiality. The sessions can be arranged through your specialist doctor/health advisor, who will in turn book the neccessary appointment. This being the case, and as KPS fund this service any invoices received from the counsellor will only be identified by a 'Soundex Code' and/or code that confirms a session(s) was officially carried out and authorised by a healthcare professional, and you will not be indentified by name. Counselling sessions are subject to funds available. Please note: KPS has a legal responsibilty as a registered charity to account for services carried out. KPS are also able to offer a complementary therapy service. Find out more by clicking on the Therapeutic Services button adjacent. All these services are carried out by recognised and qualified professionals. COMPLEMENTARY THERAPIES:
